Chohan Foundation is a nonprofit organization bringing fresh water and education to people in developing nations, along with many other acts of community good for the people who need it most. We believe that everyone deserves the food, shelter and education. Through our grants, we seek to build communities enriched by meaning and togetherness by improving the well-being of people everywhere.
This Trust is created exclusively for charitable, religious, scientific, literary and educational purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 50l(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
We at the Foundation are profoundly grateful for the opportunity to use the wealth accumulated by the Chohan Family to make our world a better place. This Foundation imposes on us an inescapable responsibility to use our grantmaking assiduously in the service of the public good. We, the stewards of the Chohan Foundation, fully embrace this solemn responsibility and strive to reflect it in all the work we do. Our work is focused on improving access to electricity, food, healthcare and economic opportunity. We do that through creative partnerships and innovative investments to extract more value from data and private capital.
